COVID-19

The teams working in distribution and pharmacies are on the front-line of the COVID-19 response, frequently being the healthcare providers patients have a first direct contact with.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the protection measures of the pharmacy staff and those involved in the distribution of medicines have been increased, the facilities being equipped with masks, gloves, Plexiglas screens, sanitizers (including for floors), coveralls (drivers), disposable boots and goggles (drivers), antibacterial wipes, visors, and vitamins.

 

During the state of emergency:

Over 5,500 pharmacists and pharmacy nurses continued their work

More than 1,246 pharmacies were open daily enabling patients’ access to needed medicines

In the warehouses operated by the members of the A.D.R.F.R., 1,631 people worked continuously, and 560 cars delivered medicines daily, across Romania

Protective measures

Avoid crowded areas where you are exposed to direct contact and / or interaction with a large number of people, such as public gatherings, queues, heavy traffic areas, recreation areas.

Keep a significant distance of 2 meters from other people you meet.

Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds after any contact with a potentially contaminated surface.

Use a protective mask to protect others.

Take antiviral or antibiotics only as prescribed by your doctor.
